Sibling-Palooza

Liam & Aidan 0140

Disability effects the entire family. No one goes to Holland alone. Anytime I speak publicly about our journey, I’m asked about Liam and how he handles having a brother with a disability. Yes his life is different, but it’s the only life he knows. Liam has one brother. He does not have any experience with the “typical” sibling relationship. I like to think that Liam will be a kinder, more open minded, thoughtful adult because of his life with Aidan. The truth is, none of those qualities can be traced back in a definitive cause and effect trail of life events. Perhaps Liam is fabulous just because he’s Liam or perhaps it’s because of a myriad mixed up mash of many factors including great parenting (pats self on back).

In honor of Siblings Day we’re gathering to share the stories of the Other Ones in our lives. Each day, one of the following bloggers will celebrate their kids. Please make sure you stay tuned as these are all very different stories, including the stories of twins and siblings who each have very different disabilities.

To share your story, please head on over to Outrageous Fortune and link up.

  1. Daily intake of one clove of garlic improves the immune system and alleviates joint
pain. Another indication that it is ready is that the
sponge will shrink slightly from the sides of the tin. Because of the strange shape of ginger, it has a
small print area but you should be able to get your logo and contact details such as a telephone number or web address onto the stressball quite easily.

  2. I am really enjoying the theme/design of your site.
Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility issues?
A couple of my blog audience have complained about my site
not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera.
Do you have any recommendations to help fix this problem?

  3. An impressive share! I have just forwarded
this onto a co-worker who has been doing a little homework on this.
And he in fact bought me breakfast due to the fact that I
found it for him… lol. So let me reword this…. Thank YOU for the meal!!
But yeah, thanx for spending the time to discuss this subject here on
    your web page.

I'd love to hear from you...
